My name is Asia Brown, I've never had a nick name, so I just go by Asia. I am a short brown skin girl who lives in Detroit, Michigan, attending Jalen Rose Leadership Academy also located in Detroit. I am also a member of my school’s varsity volleyball and basketball team with my favorite being volleyball. Volleyball has been the best thing to ever happen to me, and best of all guess what? I will be 18 in two months and I am so excited! However, after high school I plan on going to a four-year college in hopes of becoming either a Cardio or Neuro surgeon, still with hopes of playing volleyball throughout college. I’m not quite sure what college I want to attend, neither do I have a definite preference on being close to or far away from home. Wherever the best opportunities are, that is where I will be. Oh, and one more thing! I absolutely hate the winter, which is why I love to travel, I dream of traveling to Ecuador. Where i'm from, Detroit, the average night temperatures in the winter is 17.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, in Ecuador the average temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit, which is just right with its pretty rain forests. I'll also be much more peaceful with Ecuador's population being 17 million opposed to The United States' 381 million. View more posts
